Still Lost!

So we’re 4 episodes into the 4th season of Lost with only 30 more episodes remaining. Any suggestion the trailers gave us that the answers were coming have only been met with more questions. Most of these came in the last episode.

So is Gin not dead?

When and who are the people who in the rafts?

What is making the light flash?

And where exactly is the island now?

The more I think about it the more questions I have and the more things I remember happening in previous series that just seem to have been forgotten about. I remember watching Alias, another show from JJ Abrams and there being a big thing about the continuity. I’m hoping that this hasn’t been abandoned for Lost and that there is one story line and the questions will be answered.

My gut feeling is that all the questions will not get answered. Things from the first 2 series will just be left for you to wonder about and it will wrap up what is happening now and maybe the odd other tie in will answer some other questions.

Lets hope we get some answeres soon but the series is pretty good at the minute.

I know… this is the very reason that the show “lost” me (sorry.. :) ). Way too many inconsistencies; story lines dropped, etc. It’s good to listen to your fans’ feedback & then adapt the story accordingly, but you’re supposed to tie up loose ends 1st!!

Lost & Prison Break got lost after season 1. Why so many twists, nobody understands…

Yeah, let us really wish that our questions be answered, otherwise we may really get “LOST”

Well, they have added the time traveling thing, and I’m not liking it. The best seasons were 1 and 2, after that the serie started its decline

I watched lost but I also prefer on Heroes. Heroes is number 1 right now , Lost has LOST its appeal , mystery.

It seems like television producers these days think that good drama involves lots of M Night Shaymalan style plot twists that don’t really have any logical progression to them, it’s more about shocking or surprising the audience than creating a good mystery

I’m excited for the new season to start, but like you am skeptical whether all the previous questions we’ve all had will get answered. I still haven’t gotten a good understanding of what exactly the smoke monster is. They only have one more season to tie everything up into a pretty bow. Here’s hoping Lost goes out with a Bang and not a fizzle like Alias did.

ONLY 30 more episodes? Lost fans are spoiled. My favorite shows hardly ever reach 20 episodes total.

The original season (shot in Hawaii) was very good. We were getting to know Hugo, and Jack, and Charlie and the rest.

The “monsters” in the jungle that pulled the pilot (character from Alias) off the top off of the nose of the jumbo jet peaked interest. Then we find that a man in a bear suit was responsible. Light and Magic definitely wasn’t involved with the special effects.

The breaker for me was Michael not choosing the obvious option of simply putting the two women in the vault, choosing instead to kill them both. Someone so conscience ridden would never have pulled the trigger as Michael did.. (I know, I know, Michael is a nervous, intense basket case. However, those two deaths were absolutely out of realm of possibility given Michael’s tenderness, no matter how driven he is to find Walt.

I enjoyed the acting for this series, but not knowing who was dead or alive or when or where created too much obfuscation for me.

In other words, I couldn’t afford the time to consistently keep up, and couldn’t keep up even if I could afford the time.

Later on in the series I caught site of John being dead/alive, and the Rock God being dead/alive. However, to this day I’m not sure what happened to Sawyer. I must have missed something…………….No kidding.
