If you want to win at roulette it is important that you avoid common landmines that frequently blow up new players. Roulette like any game has a learning curve, players often try and skip the learning curve, they may get ahead a first but they eventually wind up broken and beat. Here are some of the most common mistakes that new players make when it comes to online roulette.

Making inside bets is a mistake. The more inside bets you make, the more bets you lose, it is as simple as that. Many roulette systems are made in an attempt to trick newer and unsuspecting players into making inside bets, this causes the new player to lose money very quickly and usually there is a commission involved in which the casino pays the person selling the system.

Don’t multitask. If you are constantly paying attention to other things your bets may get sloppy which will lose you money.

Roulette betting software often looks like a good idea but it could cost you. It’s not that software is bad, but that the people selling software cannot always be trusted. Use extreme caution when dealing with software. If you feel you absolutely need software build it yourself if you can, or buy it from someone you know you can trust and better yet somebody who you know you could drag to a court of law if you needed too, if you have the money it may be possible to hire somebody to make the software for you, again make sure you meet the designer personally, and remember the more legal paperwork the better.

Don’t make up your bets as you go along. Betting is a logical and rational process, which means there is no room for emotion to rear its head and sabotage you. This means have your bets made in your head before hand before you arrive at the table.

If more new players read these rules before they attempted to play online roulette the world would have much less heartbroken gamblers.
