The PSP and PSP Go are set to witness their very own batch of multiplayer chaos with the PS store release of Fat Princess, the incredibly enjoyable game which was released for the PS3 a couple of months ago. Mainly a standard strategy game in the line of ‘capture the flag’, in this the ‘flag’ appears to be a princess will need to save.

However, to make proceedings that little bit tougher, the captive princess can be fed chunks of cake by your enemy, to increase her weight and girth and hence make it tougher to life her away. In Fat Princess, you’re joined in your quest by numerous troop varieties, ranging from warriors to mages, and every caste brings specific abilities to the combat.

The primary attraction of Fat Princess was at all times the multiplayer mayhem, and even on the PSP the game doesn’t falter. Though the number of gamers has been reduced from 32 down to 8, the handheld still provides a great interactive experience. And to make up for the loss of gamers, the PSP counterpart offers new modes and maps instead!

Fat Princess is a brilliantly enjoyable game- the characters are vivid and complemented by impressive visuals. The multiplayer feature is the main attraction though, with the battles reaching loopy levels and every battle an epic journey in itself. Fat Princess is an enthralling and enjoyable little game- ideal for enjoying with friends!
